Happy Pick Strawberries Day, everyone! This is definitely one of the tastier times of the month and what a great excuse to go out and pick some of those delicious berries.
When I first started looking up strawberry recipes, I was surprised at how many different ways people used them, and it wasn’t for a dessert or some sort of sweet treat. I’m not one to mix my fruits with things like meat and such, so maybe that’s why I was a bit sheltered about this savory strawberry craze. hehe
After going though tons of these sweet and savory strawberry recipes, I just had to save a bunch that I’m considering trying later. I’m a total sucker for pineapple and chicken, so Jo Cooks’ quesadilla recipe is high priority for me. I think the one that sounds the strangest but has me completely intrigued, is the peanut butter burger with strawberry relish.
I know the peanut butter and meat combo makes me kinda cringe, but I also believe that hamburgers have this magical ability to pair well with practically everything. Any of the recipes here leave you rushing to go strawberry picking? Any savory strawberry recipes you recommend?
