I have had a lifelong love affair with honeybees and honey. Since I was a small child, I saw honeybees as some of the most gentle creatures around, and honey – well, it was the nectar of the gods in my world. I chewed on honeycomb until every last drop of sweetness was milked out of it.
I lost my mind over honey and peanut better sandwiches. And there was nothing I liked better on my pancakes than a big dollop of fresh honey.
